Spotting

Description:

This black and white bee has a lot of yellow pollen on it. It was sticking its long probiscus out, into a large drop of water on its "mouth". The video shows this behavior.

Habitat:

Unknown bush in riparian area

I'm not sure. This one appears to have a little color in the wings where my other black and white one has clear wings. There is often variation within a species but I'm not knowledgeable enough to determine if this is indeed the same.

Isn't this the same as the "mining bee" you have on picture in your collection? with the exception that it has loads of pollen on it? :)

Thank you. It definitely helps show the behavior I'm trying to explain in the description :)

I thought so too! I was amazed how long the probiscus was.
