Not a mosquito. Crane flies don't bite, in fact, many don't even eat as adults! Most species spend the bulk of their lives as larvae in streams and wet soils and consume plant materials. Some species have larvae that eat mosquito larvae. Their sole purpose as adults is to find mates and reproduce. They are completely harmless.
