Mountain Goat

Description:

Not real goats but close to antelope. Mountain goat is a big mammal covered with white hair to keep them warm in the winter.Their white coat camouflage the snow so it keeps them hidden from the predators. Also the adults they have long hair under their throat just like a beard, and have sharp pointy horns that is a bit curve backwards. Mountain goats reach sexual ability about 30 months. Mountain goats can live 12 to 15 years. The female goats are smaller, and the male goats are bigger. Height 3 to 3 1/2 feet and for weight its between 100-300 pounds.

Habitat:

Their habitat rocky, cliffs, and ledges. They eat grass, herbs, mosses, twigs, and leaves from the low growing plant.
