David, I am learning a lot as well!!Size would definitely fit for pygmy...What about Ellipes sp.? Where did you get this name from? It is certainly a pgmy cricket genus, but do we have reports or matchings from Indonesia??

Yes Davidbygott, I thought the same. Mole crickets are common where I grew up, I am used to them, and the head of this looks just like those ones.
Looks like a very distant relative of a mole cricket.
At first sight a Gryllidae, but the antennae are too long! Any other picture of it?? Any idea of the size?
