Chalcid Wasp

Description:

A very small wasp, about 8 mm long with a blue-green thorax and thick femora.

Habitat:

Spotted on a young eucalytpus tree in a nature reserve.

Notes:

Chalcid wasps are mostly parasitoids of other insects. Not able to get good shots of this interesting little wasp. Will need help with identifying this.
