Spotting

Description:

This plant had light green leaves, and lighter stems. Small in size, and spread out in the space provided, not congregated to one location. Roots did not spread out very deep, nor very far. The steams were not entertained with any surrounding plants, and were very thin and spindly.

Habitat:

Found at a local beach in Hawaii (Sand Island). Found far from the water, under the shade of a tree. No other vegetation was found nearby, and the plant was growing out of the sand. This beach is very rocky, the sand of which the plant was growing out of was very little.
