Water Swampweed

Persicaria Amphibia

Description:

The petals are clustered. And the anther is sticking out of the flower. Another identification that made me think it was a swampweed was that it has ribbed hairy stems. Lives near a river or a stream in Moist swampy soil. Like all producers, it can make its own food by gathering sunlight from the sun and converting it into energy for food for the producer, this is called photosynthesis.

Habitat:

At Watkinson in the woods next to the Park river.
