Phoebis philea
approx. 1 1/4 inches long
spotted on candle bush in front yard
Nice. Please consider adding this spotting to the mission Animal Young of Floridahttp://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1869...Thanks
Thank you, Karen. The ants usually get the eggs on the candle bush. But I was able to save a couple and have been watching this fellow grow. With any luck I'll get to see it turn into a new butterfly.
Very nice!
