Not sure of the woodpecker species
The range fits perfectly with your spotting Seema. The bill size tells as well this is not a hairy woodpecker. Now, it could have been a downy woodpecker if it would have had a white patch on the middle of the back. Which I don't see on the picture. We are left with Nuttall's.
