Description:

This medium sized beetle is 10 to 14 millimeters long and has a black color with a slightly metallic sheen. The slender legs are more brown to dark red in color, the elytra have longitudinal grooves that consist of rows of small pits. The pronotum is slightly arched, has striking round sides and back is slightly narrowed, making the Nedria characteristic heart shape.

Habitat:

is a species of ground beetle native to Europe and the Near East.
