Description:

Velvety, rust coloured growth that has taken over the leaves. In an adjacent plant, the growth is restricted. Maybe this is what will happen later.

Habitat:

Chilapata Forest is a dense forest near Jaldapara National Park in Dooars, Alipurduar district, West Bengal, India. This photo was taken in the garden of the Chilapata Jungle Lodge which is located right where the jungle ends.
