This plant is invasive in the Pacific Northwest and consider a toxic weed releasing toxins into the soil that poison native plants. http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symb... Plus the smell of the roots makes my nose run like a waterfall!

I live in BC and this is quite an invasive plant. I suppose it would work in a container or VERY large areas that needed 1-2ft of ground cover. But otherwise consider it a weed. It is a cousin of the geranium with many varieties that many of us are trying to nail down on Noah.
