found growing in meadows in calm shallow waters throughout the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico and as far north as Cape Canaveral in Florida

Notes:

Large area of this sea grass growing here along side patches of Manatee Grass. Note: All the dark area in the water in the zoomed in map is a seagrass medow.
