Description:

Female. Thorax brown with yellowish side stripes. Abdomen brown with yellow stripes. Wings each have three dark patches at base, midpoint, and tip. Eyes brown.

Habitat:

Ponds, lakes, and sluggish backwaters.

Notes:

This one perched in the tree outside my bedroom window.
