Gulf Coast Toad

Photo take at night near home in a pound made by a heavy rain for 4 days now yellPhoto take in my front door at night, very common in this area nocturnal toad. The Gulf Coast Toad is a medium sized toad species I. valliceps has the most extensive ridging of any toad in its geographic range. The ridges extend from the nose, to the back of the head, and with a branch that wraps around the back side of the eye.

Habitat:

Found in a wide range of habitats, native of Louisiana, México all the way to Costa Ricaow toad small about 6 cm long hide in the bushes next to the water.

Thanks Karen is so hard to fin frogs and toads i find out is better at night on rainy days.
