One-Sided Penstemon

Penstemon unilateralis

Description:

Blue or purple flowers about and inch long, with two petals that go up and three that go down. Anthers can be seen inside the flowers. Flowers tend to grow on own side of the stalk, hence the name. Leaves and long and slender, and in pairs across from each other. The whole plant is smooth, and around 2 feet high.
