Mule deer

Odocoileus hemionus

Description:

This may not be the best photo I´ve ever taken but it is THE MOST AMAZING ONE." I was able to stand 6 feet away from these mule deers in the wild". Why? Because they live in Yosemite National Park and they are protected, they are not hunted down, they are not afraid of humans. Where I live very seldom times you get to see any deers, and if you see them they are already running away from you scared. National Parks where you protect the wildlife is the best idea ever. And not just the mule deers, the coyote, the ravens, etc. I was very impressed by how close you could stand to the animals.

Habitat:

Pine forest
