Spotting

I think this may be a caterpillar for a Question Mark butterfly. I also think that this is a younger instar, meaning it will molt a few more times before full grown and moving into becoming a chrysalis. In the future, it is helpful in identification process if you also have a side view so you can count how many legs, as well as see any unique patterns. Another helpful thing is if you know what type of plant you've found it on--many caterpillars are highly specific about what they eat. For example, Question Mark's eat elm, hackberry, hops and nettle.
