Spotting

Description:

Little white bell shaped flowers with yellow centers that eventually turn into a green... berry?(so far... not sure YET what color they'll be) The plants are around 3 feet tall with leaves that are not across from eachother. The veins are all the way through.

Habitat:

There are tons of these in my woods, Mixed in with flaming azeleas and Mountain Laurels. Recently we cleared a spot for a swingset and I have counted 15 along the edge of the swingset. I need to know if these are poisonous and if not are they yummy? To me they look ALOT like a blueberry bush that a friend had given us from their patch. BUT different in color of flowers..... and dont seem to get as big..... Sigh this is driving me bananas! PLEASE help.

Notes:

Also if I need to post more pics just let me know.

I am obsessed with figuring tis one out right now. I swear if I would have grew up in the mountains I would have known all this.
