Here is a possible ID Eudocima hypermnestra, the fruit piercing moth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eudocima_hy... I am not certain as there seem to be several similar spp.
Leuba they hold their head and tail up when startled to imitate (?) something. A different one here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/102...

This place is called butterfly garden. This place is developed only for nurturing butterflies. So they take care and observe their eggs, pupa, caterpillars.... We go their on every Sunday in October every year. It is a beautiful place developed in thane.
