An unidentified species of the widespread flesh flies (family Sarcophagidae). Typically with gray bodies and three black stripes on the thorax, and a non-metallic appearance.

Habitat:

Spotted on an orchid in a large semi-urban yard & garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.
