Flowers have four elliptical shaped petals. Comes in white or pink variations. Have a distinct inward curve at the end of each petal.

Habitat:

Lives in Deciduous forests of the Eastern United States. This particular tree was found in an urban downtown setting.

Notes:

Usually blooms in early to mid-spring.
