Big, dark red, velvety double flowers, up to 2.5 inches in diameter with 17 to 25 petals per flower. Unlike many flowering quinces, tends to have flowers all the way out to the tips of its branches.

I spotted mine in somebody else's yard.
I forgot to add the habitat - my yard! (I admit, I bought it)
