Accipiter striatus

Description:

Curved beak and sharp talons used for catching and killing smaller prey. has barred patterns accrost the ches and wing feathers and also on the tail feathers. Has a yellow fading away from the beak. Wing span is about 2ft length of bird was 1ft 3"

Habitat:

Urban areas where it can prey on small birds at bird feeders Sagebrush type area

Notes:

I found it dead underneath our porch.
