If it is then these are supposed to be harmless ,gentle bees that do not bite the bee keeper.
Out of Alkali bee, carnelian bee, squash bee and leaf cutter, Carnelian does seem to be the best choice.
Carnelian it is!

The bee. It is different from the ones I see normally. Has whiter bands and i was wondering if it was carnelian bees?
