Large flying bug. Slow crawling, green, with brown accents. Transparent wings.
Texas trees.
Tibicen canicularis is a northern species and not recorded from Texas (although there are references in the lit. based on misidentifications of related taxa).

If > 2 inches incl wings (=large cicada)
