Description:

This is an arboreal Anolis endemic to Cuba, introduced into Florida, they are large, up to 50 cm from head to end of tail. usually green but they can change colors, depending on the substrate where they are, temperature and emotions (metachrosis ) They bask in the mornings; and in the afternoons they go down along the trunks of the trees to regulate its temperature and to find food.

Habitat:

Forest and garden.
