Great fotos Mauron. Glad you included the 3rd one. I was picturing a shorter, heavier lizard. Nice you were there to give it a hand. Not everyone would have done that. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah it's a bit strange, but very common lizard here. They also lose their tail when in danger, as seen in this spotting: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations...

This one on PN was quite huge and got himself stuck in mud, so we need to help him to get across road.

Wow, that is amazing! I thought initially it looked too 'odd' to be a lizard, thus thinking it was a snake, only to realise the snake is actually a lizard... without legs. Far out! Well spotted, Mauron.
