Stilt-legged Fly

Description:

Small red eyed black fly with a long thin body. Its two front legs are white at the ends and it feels about them then returns them to its mouth. Body chestnut brown, wings patterned, including whitish semi-circular mark. There were 3 of these feeding a fresh droppings.

Habitat:

Wildlife habitat with many native plants.
