Description:

•They are nocturnal, but juveniles are more acrive during the day. •They eat algae, dead animals, small invertebrates, plants and what other food is avaliable. •They usually make burrows.

Habitat:

Rivers and streams, mountain streams -I saw this crab in a river in Itaipava(RJ,Brazil)
