Eunicea laciniata
Photo take at -45 ft on a coral reef. This Eunicea is very common. Colonies are medium brown, branching mainly from near the base, and they branch from all round the main stem rather than in one plane. The branches are cylindrical and thick so that the protruding calices are relatively small. The branch ends are bulbous, Tiny small star polyps all around it.
Found on shallow waters on coral reef,s occasionally on the sandy bottom from Florida all the Caribbean sea to Brazil.
