Spider

Description:

Very large (at least 3" across) mottled brown with distinctive cephalothorax pattern.

Habitat:

Along back wall of house behind lower drain spout on our horse farm in Ocala, FL.

Notes:

This guy has lightning fast speed, a lot bigger than those spiders I saw when I lived in Littleton, CO!

Aaaaaah yes! Meet the impressive Huntsman Spider. Very large (I had one in my house that had a 6" leg-span!) and VERY fast. I've had several in my house this season, bringing greatly mixed feelings on my part. They are indeed large and fast, but they eat cockroaches. So I evict them from my home alive. Far away. LOL
