The costal margin/wing shape appears to be evenly arciform and suggestive of canicualris in this case. The muted coloration is also more typical of canicularis.

T. linnei in Wisconsin is usually smaller than linnei to the south, but characteristically much brighter green with strongly bowed wing margins.

Is a great spotting some of this cicadas spend to 13 under grown :)
