Eastern gray squirrel

Sciuridae

Description:

Eastern gray squirrels can be located in all continents except for Australia, and Arctica. An adaptation that squirrels have is that they have strong muscles that help them climb (not this one because it is dead). Organisms that interact with dead squirrels specifically are Red-tailed hawks and diurnal birds. This squirrel has had a long body, and gray fur thus its name the Eastern gray squirrel.

Habitat:

Watkinson forest
