Red eared slider

Trachemys scripta elegans

Description:

Skeleton of a hatchling turtle...shell seemed misshapen that may have been what killed it

Habitat:

freshwater lakes

Notes:

I believe it was a red eared slider because I saw many live ones in the lake but it may have been some other type of turtle
