look at the glaucous winged in here. Doesn't it have black wing tips. I find this very confusing!!

Glaucous-wing has grey wing tips, has a red spot bill and is large.
Ring-billed is small, ring around the bill.
Herring bill looks like a Glaucous-wing but has black wing tips.

These are fairly common,next to the ring billed and Herring.Learning and trying to differentiate the 3. Ring billed seems easier.
