Description:

dark brown face and neck, lighter from shoulders to white rump. Bulls have large antlers and cows don't and are smaller in body size and not as dark in face and neck. Feed on woody plants and berries

Habitat:

Forest, meadows and mountains of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska

Notes:

spotted these in a meadow near Belfair in Washington.
