Description:

A redish-brown variant of a black slug, basically a snail without its "house". Around 15cm long.

Habitat:

Gardens, pastures, meadows ...

Notes:

I found this slug already dead. Usually they make damage to gardens. They are very common in Slovenia. Everytime about this time of year when it rains you can find loads of them on meadows and in forests. When we were kids we played a game, where you had to avoid slugs, elsewhere you'd became a statue. If you sprinke some salt on them, they'd eventually die, ...
