Hooded oriole

Icterus cucullatus

Description:

Bright yellow with black on wings, and a little white. 20-30 cm. I don't know which particular species this is, just that it's a New World oriole.

Habitat:

Subtropic coconut palms, near beach.

Notes:

They build their pendulous nests in the palm fronds, then join us for breakfast on our balcony.
