Hemidactylus brookii parvimaculatus
A rough-skinned geacko. head oval; head scales small; body flatterned; with granular scales and rows of tubercles; tail plump with spine-like tubercles on dorsum; males with 7-12 preanofemoral pores; dorsum dark brown to light grey; with dark brown spots usually arranged in groups; two dark lines along nostrils and eyes; venter yellowish-cream; tail with indistinct dark bars
inhabits parks, gardens and houses, as well as open forests.
it do looks like Hemidactylus brookii parvimaculatus which is endemic to srilanka.. but its not H.frenatus for sure...:)
thank you Gopal ! can you confirm it's Hemidactylus brookii, i got the id from a local reptile guide book and don't know much about geckos :)
