Snowshoe Hare

Lepus americanus

Habitat:

It roamed around a remote campsite in northern Québec in the Mont-Tremblant National Park. A wooded area with many lakes and rivers.

Notes:

It just hopped beside me and we both looked at each other in surprise. I was drinking my coffee in the early morning hours, enjoying the calmness of the forest.
