Chrysoperla carnea
A very small, crawly larvae that had "glued" bits of a leaf, shell(?), rock and tree bark onto it's back. It's head was striped black and white and had large, curved pincers. Shooting off from four points near its shoulder were groups of antennae-like feelers.
Found crawling on palm leaves in a city park in the city of Medellín, Colombia.
Thanks to LivanEscudero for identifying this species for me! I have seen a "trash bug" one other time, also in Colombia, and I'm enthralled at the concept. It seems to almost imply conscious thought.

Nice, I would like to hire him as my porter too.
I was lucky enough to capture some hatching from their eggs: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/161...
If I could get one to follow me, it would be like my own personal spice rack.
...looks like a collection of spice on his back, including a chilli flake !! :0
You are welcome. Yes, the eggs are neat looking too.
That's exactly it!
Plus you also showed me that I've taken some photos of their eggs nearby, which I wanted to specify as well. Thanks Livan!
It's the larva of a Green Lacewing (Family Chrysopidae). Some species have this kind of Debri carrying larva.
