Bambusicola thoracicus sonorivox

To add to the previous comment, the bird pictured belongs to the subspecies Bambusicola thoracicus sonorivox, which is endemic to Taiwan. A recent paper argues that this subspecies should be elevated to full species status (with the name Bambusicola sonorivox).
