Yes Shekainah, it is very similar, probably this is a related specie to Commander butterfly

It looks like a Commander Butterfly caterpillar.

You are right suzmonk, a friend also taking pictures passed in front of this caterpillar and totally missed it. I only noticed the caterpillar because he moved a little.

It really does look like moss! Wow, great find ...
