A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Rudbeckia nitida herbstsonne
This perennial can grow to seven feet tall and three to four feet wide. It has sturdy stems that hold large yellow blooms drooping petals. The deep green foliage at the base makes this a spectacular addition to a garden.
This is a mid-summer bloomer planted in the wildlife habitat garden for butterflies, especially fall Monarchs.
