Description:

Adults have four pairs of legs (immature stages have three pairs of legs). The purpose of bright coloration is to inform the predators about their bad taste. It lives in wooded areas and particularly in second-growth forests with thick underbrush. Grayish-brown with a white dot that resembles a star in the center top of the abdomen.
