About 3 millimeters in body length, wingless.

Habitat:

Found on a rabbitbrush plant on zoo grounds. Surrounding natural habitat is mixed conifer forest with some Gambel's Oak, aspen, chokecherry.

Notes:

Association with the host plant is often necessary to identify these tiny wasps.
