"Queen Alexandra" Oriental Poppy

Papaver Orientale

Description:

This poppy was huge in my understanding of poppies. It was about 3 feet tall plant, the blossom leaves may be 2 inches long. Very soft and frilly and pink.

Habitat:

Suburban garden, temperate zone

Notes:

I've never seen a poppy this huge or this color. This garden I walk by daily has the strangest color of poppies.
