This guy is on display at River Legacy's Education Department along with my Gar spotting. These things are a carnivore and eat a wide variety of freshwater creatures from small fish to insects. They can get pretty big this one was almost if not exactly the size of a dinner plate. There shells are as the name implies but is a firm stiff material its just smooth.
