Bufo nebulifer
A brownish flat toad. Broad dark stripe down each side of dorsum, each with light stripes just above. Light stripe down the middle of the back. Bufo nebulifer grows to an adult size of 5-10 cm (2-4 in).
This one had flattened itself in the street in hopes I would just walk by and not see it there.
The lack of color is from laying my LED flashlight down for light for the photo. The frog population in the garden and yards is larger this year.
